How to add a Custom Domain in Cloud Apps (NCloud) Print

  • 0

By default, when you deploy an application or website on our Cloud Apps (NCloud) platform, the system generates a temporary URL so you can test your project right away. However, to launch your product to the public, you will want to use your own domain name (e.g., your-website.com).

Before you begin: Ensure that you have already set your domain's Nameservers to IMOMA TECH (ns1.imomatech.com and ns2.imomatech.com) or that you have pointed a Type A record from your external domain to your Cloud Apps server IP address.

Step-by-Step Dashboard Configuration:

  1. Log in to your IMOMA TECH Client Area and open your Cloud Apps service management dashboard.
  2. From your application list, click on the specific project (Node.js, Python, Laravel, etc.) where you want to bind the domain.
  3. In the application configuration menu, navigate to the Domains section.
  4. In the domain input field, type the complete address you wish to use (e.g., https://your-website.com or https://app.your-website.com).
  5. ⚠️ Note: It is highly recommended to include the https:// prefix so the platform automatically forces secure connections.
  6. Click the Save button.

What happens next?

Our automation system will validate if the domain is properly pointing to our network. Once verified, the platform will generate and install a free Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate 100% automatically within a few seconds. Your app will be instantly live, secure, and ready for production!
