If you have purchased one of our CyberPanel plans (Cloud Lite, Cloud Standard, or Cloud Advanced) and need to point subdomains, set up marketing tracking, or validate external platform keys, you will need to manage your DNS zone directly within your server dashboard.
ℹ️ Important Note: This guide applies if your domain is utilizing IMOMA TECH's Nameservers (
ns1.imomatech.com and ns2.imomatech.com), allowing CyberPanel to handle your DNS records fully.
Step-by-Step Guide to Create or Edit Records in CyberPanel:
- Log in to your CyberPanel administration dashboard.
- On the left-hand sidebar menu, navigate to the DNS section and click on Add/Delete Records.
- From the dropdown menu, select the specific domain you wish to modify. The panel will instantly load tabs displaying all existing records (A, CNAME, TXT, MX, etc.).
- Select the tab corresponding to the record type you wish to create (e.g., click on the TXT tab for security validations or the CNAME tab to point a subdomain).
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name: Type your subdomain (e.g., input just
blogif you want to create blog.your-website.com). To apply it to your root domain, type the@symbol or leave it blank as prompted by the interface. - TTL: You can safely keep the system default value (usually 3600).
- Value / Destination: Paste the IP address, target host, or text string provided by your external service.
- Name: Type your subdomain (e.g., input just
- Click the Add button located on the right side of the form row.
How to Delete an Existing Record:
On the very same page, scroll down to see the list of active entries under your selected tab. Locate the row containing the old configuration you wish to remove and click on the trash bin icon (Delete) to instantly clear it from the zone file.
⏳ Global Propagation Window: CyberPanel updates its server configurations immediately. However, please note that internet service providers worldwide cache old DNS entries, meaning changes might take anywhere between 1 to 4 hours to display properly across all networks.
